Arthur Grau co-founded and manages Applications for Good, bringing software developers together with communities of need to create apps for public good. Currently he acts as co-captain with Code for America’s Honolulu Brigade and leads the Net Squared local chapter, leveraging volunteerism and media engagement for social change. Previously he led the design and implementation of One Economy's Digital Connectors national service-learning program where he produced a suite of educator trainings and online tools including knowledge website, Connectors Club social network and Digi-Staffing job engine. He served as program director with the Just Think Foundation, delivering digital media tools to classrooms at the outset of the social web. He also acted as curriculum and media consultant to the Stanford based Southeast Asian Leadership Network, an undergraduate-led service learning program. He believes high quality, interactive media engagement will have positive outcomes for personal development and society as a whole.
